The Gay beaches have been a major meeting point for the gay travelers and locals for many years, therefore it is very easy to find a gay friendly beach even at the most isolated islands or regions! The Beaches vary from Pebble to Sand to Pebble-Sand. The variety also includes nudist beaches and predominantly gay beaches which during the summer season can be quiet busy. Here is a list of some of the best beaches around:
Sea Caves Paphos
Sea Caves Beach in Coral Bay, just outside of Paphos is a mixed beach, but frequently used by nude sun worshippers and cruisers. The beach is predominantly a pebble beach with the odd sandy area here and there.
Pissouri Beach Pissouri
Pissouri Beach is situated approximately half way between Limassol and Paphos on the west of the island. From the Highway, just head for the exit Pissouri Bay by driving to Columbia Pissouri Hotel and continue until you get to a small roundabout. Turn left and park in the public car park. From there you can see the beach, once you have reached the beach, continue walking left and go straight until you hit some rocks, behind these rocks is where the very popular nudist beach starts. This part of the beach is frequented by plenty of gay guys which are there to top up the sun tan and some to have some daytime action.
Dassoudi Beach Limassol
Dassoudi Beach is a very popular beach in the middle of Limassol’s tourist area. Although this beach is mainly a family beach, is quiet cruisy especially at night.
Governors Beach Limassol
The best known gay beach is in the south of the island, at White Rocks (Aspra Vrahia) at Governor’s Beach, just outside of Limassol on the Limassol to Larnaca Highway is one of the most popular beaches for Gay people. Ignore the Touristy part of the beach and keep right at the end of the car park, drive through the car park and go to the right. Until you reach the white chalk Bays fantastic place .This is where the gay section is situated, you can’t miss it, and people are cruising there all day long.
Kermia Beach Ayia Napa
The final, smaller beach, Kermia, is by Ayia Napa, in the east of the island close to the Kermia Hotel Beach, and is almost exclusively gay but you need to do a bit of rock climbing to get there but it’s well worth the effort.
Nissi Beach Ayia Napa
Nissi Beach in Ayia Napa is a beautiful sandy beach with a mixture of different areas. From family, to nudist beach to a large part of the nudist beach which is predominantly used by gay visitors, Cypriots and foreigners alike.
